Hi all, |
As many of you are aware, the Governor of New York recently ordered that all non-essential businesses in New York State close their on-site operations and, where possible, allow employees to work from home in an effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, based upon guidance provided by New York State, MTI Instruments is classified as an essential business since we are a contractor with the US Government. In addition, we learned today that several of our key suppliers have also been classified as essential businesses and are maintaining their on-site operations. While MTI Instruments remains open for business, we have followed the recommendations of New York State officials and have implemented work-from-home schedules for most of our staff, with minimal personnel on-site to maintain operations at our facility. This will allow us to continue to meet current customer delivery schedules for the foreseeable future, while doing our best to protect the health and safety of our remarkable employees. The MTI procurement group also continues to maintain open dialogues across our supply chain regarding product availability to ensure the timely receipt of components and sub-assemblies throughout the months ahead.
Although working out of various physical locations, the team at MTI Instruments continues to collaboratively interact with one another on a regular basis to uphold the excellent reputation of our products and customer service throughout these challenging times. If you have any questions or concerns about our products or if you are in need of service, please do not hesitate to email us at salessupport@mtiinstruments.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible. We are living in unprecedented times, which naturally generates uncertainties and concerns. However, rest assured that the world-class MTI Instruments team is available for assistance and is working diligently to minimize the impact of this COVID-19 crisis on our business. Rick Jones |
